Week 25

25 weeks... You will have to wait for the picture thanks to my apartment complex thinking it was okay to turn off our hot water without warning and because it is 32 degrees outside I can't stand the thought of showering in freezing water... resulting in me not taking a picture because I look awful. Thank you dear apartment complex for providing just another reason for my anxiousness to be done with you come the new year.

In more lighthearted news we had our ultrasound this afternoon and things could not have been better. Baby W is still a boy and the tech was confident in that decision so at this point it would be a radical surprise for that to change somehow at this point. His little brain and heart are developing perfectly and his measurements are right on schedule. Doctor said we couldn't have asked for a better report back. He is currently sitting breech and is still pretty stubborn, he was kicking the whole time they were trying to evaluate his heart valves. Eventually he settled down enough for the doctor to get what he needed. It's crazy how much he has grown and how quickly it all happens. We are just 3 1/2 months away from introducing our little one into this world.

10 weeks vs 25 weeks face shots.

I stayed a bit reserved on following through buying anything for the baby until we got a second opinion about the gender. Now that 2 doctors and 2 ultrasound technicians have both told us that it is indeed a boy I feel more comfortable about proceeding with purchases. The great debate has been the crib. I wanted to go with a vintage style white crib while the husband wanted a darker wood and a bit more modern. We have gone around in circles about the crib... In the end, with how hectic our life is right now I've decided to make this discussion easier and just go with a more modern darker crib set.
Now we are moving on to color patterns.... And the adventure continues.
